Uniform & Supply Requirements at Oracle Charter School

Uniform and Dress Code  (Updated 8-12-2011)

As a college prep high school in Buffalo, NY, Oracle Charter School expects students to dress themselves in a way that conforms to casual business workplace standards. We respect the diversity of our students and encourage individual expression provided it conforms to an adult workplace. But it is also our expectation that students’ clothes will be clean, in good repair, inoffensive to staff and fellow students, and sensible for the season. Students are required to wear an Oracle uniform shirt (available from the school store) and khaki/tan or black pants each day unless a special dress occasion is announced.

Student planner (Please note that Oracle provides each student with a Student Planner. Parents do not have to purchase this!)
1 - Large 3 ring binder (with pockets)
Section dividers for binders

Pencil case ( with 3 holes to fit into the binder)
Pencil sharpener
1 GB flash drive for saving computer files
8½ x 11” loose-leaf paper with holes (not spiral notebook paper)
Independent reading book

Required Supplies for Mathematics

TI-84 graphing calculator- (there will be some loaner calculators available) 

Required for PE

PE Uniform short and shirt (available from school store)
