Oracle Charter School is a small, urban, college preparatory charter school located in Buffalo, New York.

The teachers and administrators who are successful at Oracle are individuals who have established a personal mission in regard to teaching or education. These individuals see all of the students who enroll at Oracle Charter School as capable of one day enrolling in college and work to do whatever it takes to ensure their students' success.

Oracle Charter School is currently reviewing resumes for the following positions from dedicated educators who share our dedication to urban education, unrelenting work ethic, and strong sense of humor:

  • English: Responsible for teaching multiple sections of high school English Language Arts. Experience preparing students for Regents-level courses preferred. English teachers at Oracle Charter School follow a differentiated model of instruction and need to adhere to rigorous standards for course alignment and data-driven instruction.
  • Mathematics: Responsible for teaching multiple sections of Geometry, Algebra II / Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus. Experience preparing students for Regents-level courses preferred. Mathematics teachers at Oracle Charter School follow a differentiated model of instruction and need to adhere to rigorous standards for course alignment and data-driven instruction.
  • Spanish: Responsible for teaching multiple sections of high school Spanish courses, beginner and intermediate levels. Our preferred candidate will have experience preparing students for Regents-level courses within an immersion model of instruction with travel or work-abroad experience in Spanish-speaking country. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching or working with urban populations. Foreign language teachers at Oracle Charter School follow a differentiated model of instruction and need to adhere to rigorous standards for course alignment and data-driven instruction.
  • Special Education: Responsible for providing consultant teacher and resource intervention for Oracle classrooms. Special Education teachers at Oracle Charter School work with identified and non-identified students and strive for greater levels of proficiency for all students.
  • Architecture: Responsible for teaching an upper-level elective that utilizes the architectural resources of the Western New York to provide students with an understanding of basic architectural styles, periods, design elements and the role of the built environment in daily life.
  • Homo Faber: Responsible for teaching an introductory semester-long elective that explores technology's impact on human societies.
